An All Dogs Christmas Carol (also unofficially known as All Dogs Go to Heaven 3) is a 1998 American animated comedy fantasy film directed by Paul Sabella and Gary Selvaggio and produced by Metro-Goldwyin-Mayer Animation.
It's the sequel to All Dogs Go to Heaven 2 (1996) and it's the third and final installment of the All Dogs Go to Heaven film series and it also serves as the series finale to the animated series. Unlike the first two films, where the main characters are Charlie and Itchy, Carface is the main character as he has the same role Ebenezer Scrooge had in the original story.
Dom DeLuise, Bebe Neuwirth, Ernest Borgnine and Sheena Easton reprised their roles of Itchy, Annabelle, Belladonna, Carface and Sasha from the first two movies and the series with Charles Nelson Reilly reprising his role of Killer from the first film (even though he already came back in the series) while Charlie Sheen was replaced once again by Steven Weber in the role of Charlie.
It features neither Anne-Marie nor David and is based on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
Despite receiving negative reviews from film critics, the film was positively welcomed from audience and fans that praised its animation, the humor, the exploration of Carface's character, heart, soundtrack and character development with some calling it better than the second film. Differently than the first two movies, this movie was direct-to-video and was released first on television and then on VHS.
