Anna Kendrick is an American actress. She was born on August 9, 1985 and was raised in Portland, Maine by her parents Janice and William Kendrick.
Anna Kendrick began her acting career at the age of 10 and landed her first major role as Dinah in the Broadway musical High Society at 12 years old. She earned her first film role in Camp and moved on to Rocket Science, in which she caught the attention of Jason Reitman, who eventually cast her in the role of Natalie Keener, for which she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Additionally, Anna Kendrick has appeared in such notable films as Twilight Saga: New Moon, 50/50, and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Her latest films, What to Expect When You're Expecting and ParaNorman are currently in production.
