The Book Thief is a 2013 American drama film based on the novel of the same name by Australian author Markus Zusak. Directed by Brian Percival and adapted to screenplay by Michael Petroni, the film stars Emily Watson, Geoffrey Rush, Sophie Nélisse, Ben Schnetzer, Nico Liersch, and Joachim Paul Assböck.

PlotEdit

While subjected to the horrors of WWII Germany, young Liesel finds solace by stealing books and sharing them with others. Under the stairs in her home, a Jewish refuge is being sheltered by her foster parents.[1]
